I am writing to let you know that my very exclusive 24 min video interview 
with Dr. Motte creator and founder of Loveparade is now online on Trance 
Domain. 

In this interview Dr. Motte who was born and grew up in the City of Berlin 
talks not only talks about some of the Loveparade History, but about life and 
how  the Techno and Rave Culture developed in Berlin during the late 80's.

I would encourage all techno fans along with Ravers Worldwide to listen to 
this interview to help you get a better understanding of the meaning and 
purpose of Loveparade as well as the very history and origins of the Rave 
Culture itself.

This having been my forth trip to Berlin for Loveparade, I have got to say 
that the experience of meeting Dr. Motte and being able to spend several 
hours with him in Wien, Austria at their Loveparade and again spending time 
with him in Berlin and doing this interview is one of the highlights of my 
life.

My only regret is that it's only 24 min long (in real jerky video) 
Dr. Motte is a extremely interesting person to talk with and hear the stories 
of the Underground Music Culture of Berlin and the very essence and 
beginnings of the RaveScene Worldwide.

For those who still are unaware Loveparade started out and still is a 
Political Demonstration where the young people felt their message of Peace 
and Love was not understood by their elders in Berlin and Germany. In 1989 
Dr. Motte, Westbam, a few other DJ’s and a few hundred friends took to the 
streets of Berlin with their music and through that music and dancing were 
trying to show that the World can live peacefully together.

It is said that Loveparade was one of the final demonstrations that finally 
lead to the fall of the Berlin Wall just 4 months following.

Dr. Motte has said “As Loveparade moves to other Cities around the World it 
is our hope that that true meaning, spirit and message of Loveparade will 
live on and be spread Worldwide. And that Loveparade may ultimately help in 
the process of bringing World Peace.”

Loveparade in Tel Aviv Israel and Capetown South Africa are both examples of 
how Music can help carry the message of World Disarmament and Peace to other 
areas in the World. To actually go out into the streets of these very 
troubled areas and show that even for just a day everyone can peacefully 
gather listening to music and dancing in public streets without trouble or 
conflict is incredible progress.

And now this September Loveparade goes to Moscow encouraging the young people 
of Moscow to come onto the public streets and demonstrate with music and 
dance. This carries a lot of the same significance of the original Loveparade 
in Berlin just 13 short years ago when the City and Continent were torn apart 
by a wall the stood for 28 years. It is hoped that Loveparade in Moscow can 
ultimately play a role in leading to discussion of tearing down the walls 
that still exist in Russia as well.

This in brief is a short history of Loveparade and the Techno Rave Culture 
that began on the streets of Berlin in 1989.  Hopefully through this, you 
will understand a little more about the essence and meaning of the Techno and 
Rave culture and perhaps encourage you to go out and share through Music and 
Dance the true meaning of P.L.U.R.T.
